Today is day four - our last day - of our JOY FM Sharathon. I have been answering phones all week here at the radio station taking faith promises. We started the day at 70% of our $1,800,000 goal and now at just past noon we have raised $1,524,773.
We believe we will raise our goal in four days this year, while in the past we have always allowed six days. #doitallin4 The JOY FM is a listener supported, non-commercial, non-profit Christian Radio Station ministry that is broadcasted in Florida, Georgia and Alabama, as well as airing online. I have truly enjoyed talking with our generous supporters and praying with them. In fact, out of this, I have become a prayer minister volunteer with the JOY FM and the Prayer & Crisis Referral Network. If you know anyone needing prayer have them call 1-877-800-PRAY (1-877-800-7729).
The Prayer & Crisis Referral Network is an anonymous toll-free,
24-hour prayer / crisis hotline to reach the lost and hurting in our
communities. The network cares for people who are desperately seeking answers
and it allows the love of Jesus to be shared in an open, compassionate way. We
also suggest local churches, ministries or organizations that may help to meet
the felt need.
I will be writing a blog in the near future about this new opportunity to serve with the Prayer & Crisis Referral Network.
